ABAQUS On-line help

If users have ABAQUS installed on Microsoft Windows on their networked PCs the on-line verson of the manuals can be accessed by making the following changes :

• For version 6.xx ( replace xx with the version number of Abaqus installed )
• In the ABAQUS installation directory find the file :
• C:\SIMULIA\ABAQUS\6.xx-1\site\abaqus_v6.env
• add the following line to the end of that file :
• doc_root="http://www-abaqus.eng.cam.ac.uk/v6.xx"
• In the file : C:\SIMULIA\ABAQUS\6.xx-1\Help\redirects\url.js
• set :
• var baseURL="http://www-abaqus.eng.cam.ac.uk/v6.xx/books/";
