CUED users can mail pc-support if they have problems.

PDF files

To produce tidy PDF files from Word on a PC program you may need to buy Adobe's Distiller. CUED staff can use a copy on the Computer Operators' PC. Alternatively Adobe make PDFMaker, which might be free and might work if you have Acrobat3. Also read Producing PDF files from Word.

Mac users can do an immediate "Print to PDF".

The Teaching System

There's a Word file viewer on the DPO PCs running Windows
LibreOffice (it's like "Office") is on the Teaching System Linux machines.
