The Teaching System

• There's a Word file viewer on all DPO PCs running Windows, but only the DPO's tw8 cluster has the full Word program.
• LibreOffice (it's like "Office") is on the Teaching System Linux machines.

PDF files

To produce tidy PDF files from Word on a PC program you may need to buy Adobe's Distiller. CUED staff can use a copy on the Computer Operators' PC. Alternatively Adobe make PDFMaker, which might be free and might work if you have Acrobat3. Also read Producing PDF files from Word.

Mac users can do an immediate "Print to PDF".
