Web housestyle: Introduction
This document describes the web page design for the Department of Engineering that was introduced
in summer 2005 to replace the old house style adopted in 1997. it's based on
the university's old house style. After July 2008, the University adopted a new style with templates for departments, style sheets and extensive guidelines explaining how to adapt the downloadable material to suit your needs.
Note in particular that you should only use the standard logo in a standard size, and that Verdana or Georgia typefaces should be used.
Localized templates based on the University's old house style are available. They include comments to indicate how
to adapt them. If you wish to use these templates, do not change the global elements or the colours. Only use these templates exactly as supplied, with the required adaptation for division/group use.
- Go to the templates page to download CUED templates based on the old university house style and read instructions on how to use them.
- Go to the University's downloadable material section to download files and documentation relating to the current (post July 2008) University house style
