Opening an Engineering Department Computer Account

Accounts on the Engineering IT systems are normally only available to staff, students, official visitors and those involved in approved collaborations with departmental staff.

Accounts will normally be automatically prepared for all expected staff, students and official visitors to the department. Such people will normally pick up their account details as part of their induction process into the department.

Provided certain conditions are met, others involved in academic collaborations with the Department may be given access to Departmental IT facilities. To apply for a collaborator account please fill in the appropriate form and return it to the IT Helpdesk.
